This is not legal advice

Two Keys provides organizational tools, templates, and communication frameworks. We are not a law firm, and nothing we provide is legal advice. Nothing in this toolkit creates an attorney-client relationship. Nothing here should be relied on as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney in your state who knows the details of your specific case.

Family law varies significantly between states and between individual cases. What is appropriate in one situation may be wrong in another. If you have questions about your rights, your custody order, or your legal options, speak to a qualified attorney.

This is not therapy or medical advice

This toolkit is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. If you are struggling, please reach out to a qualified therapist or counselor.

Your parenting plan governs

These materials do not override your existing parenting plan, custody order, or any court order. If anything in this toolkit conflicts with a court order that applies to you, the court order governs. Always follow your court order.

About documentation

The logs and trackers in this kit help you keep your own personal records organized in a consistent, chronological format that is easier to review or share with a professional when appropriate. They are not court-admissible records, certified records, or tamper-proof documentation, and we make no claim that they are.

We cannot guarantee how any court, mediator, attorney, or other professional will view, interpret, or accept any record you create. If you need formal documentation for a legal proceeding, speak to your attorney about what is appropriate.

About the AI prompts

AI tools can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate output. They do not know your custody order, your state's laws, or the details of your situation. Always read anything an AI tool produces before you send it. You are responsible for every message you send.

We also recommend removing your child's name, your address, your school, and any case or court details before pasting anything into any AI tool. Instructions for doing this are included in the kit.

If you are not safe

This toolkit is designed for high-conflict co-parenting logistics. It is not a safety planning resource and it is not designed for situations involving abuse or immediate danger.

If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For confidential support, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24/7 — call 1-800-799-7233, text START to 88788, or visit thehotline.org.
